What is the purpose of time recording and how does it work?
admileo includes a powerful self-sufficient time recording system. The recording of working hours serves mainly to track progress and deployments in a project on the basis of reliable specified time settings. This helps to achieve a considerably more efficient planning of individual operations and even complete process chains.
How will the recorded working hours be processed?
The recorded time data of the employees are saved in personal time accounts, where they can be flexibly managed. Thus it is possible to book working hours on work packages and tasks in order to efficiently support the project planning and the project controlling. In admileo this booking of hours worked (also referred to as: effort booking) is supported by a lot of other functionalities and facilitates a convenient consolidation of organisational aspects and targets derived from the project and product management. The recorded working hours can also be offset against existing flextime accounts.
The features of admileo's time recording system
With admileo you can flexibly create and manage different daily, weekly, working hours or shift models with various break rules. Every employee can thus be assigned a personal working hours model. The model can take into account the approved and paid working hours as well as their minimum and maximum time limits.
If such a system exists already, admileo will easily be coupled to it and acquire the recorded data for further use in the system. Optionally, all time data can be transferred from admileo to any existing payroll accounting program. The time recording is usually effected via a time recording terminal, but can just as well be made manually.
Will time recording be useful for the overall planning process even if there are external project participants?
Even external persons involved in the project can be integrated into the time recording system in admileo for the duration of their cooperation, so that their working hours are acquired for the project controlling and will be available for the project evaluation.
